Shaping tomorrow's leaders today

Who we are

For over two decades, the Ayala Young Leaders Congress (AYLC) has shaped a generation of Filipino youth—values-driven, purpose-led, and committed to nation-building.

Now, we’re taking this legacy further.

Ayala Young Leaders is a journey that begins with a three-month youth leadership development program for outstanding college students and continues beyond with a lifelong community of Ayala Young Leaders alumni.

The program equips young changemakers to lead with purpose, integrity, and compassion in an ever-changing world. After three transformative months of learning, mentorship, and community action, graduates continue their journey through the Ayala Young Leaders Alumni Network—a space built especially for Ayala Young Leaders alumni within ATLAS, Ayala Foundation’s wider alumni community that connects and empowers graduates from all its trainings and programs.

Our Two Pillars

Ayala Young Leaders 2026

Youth Leadership Development

A three-month leadership experience that deepens formation beyond the traditional five-day congress. A carefully selected cohort of promising college and university student leaders goes through:

Leadership Kick-Off — immersive onsite experience anchored on Steward Leadership values and community-building

Leadership Labs & Exposure Trips — virtual learning combined with on-the-ground immersions on self-mastery, communication, negotiation, adaptive leadership, and sustainability; exposure trips bring lessons to life through real-world cases and industry engagement

Culmination & Commitment — reflection and renewal of purpose as participants transition to alumni

Ayala Young Leaders Alumni Network

Sustains the journey beyond the three months by alumni gaining access to:

Opportunity Platforms — scholarships, internships, and fellowships

Mentorship & Enrichment Programs — continued learning with leaders across industries

Volunteerism & Collaboration — spaces to give back and co-lead initiatives for nation-building

Our History

Ayala launched the AYLC, now Ayala Young Leaders, in 1998 as one of its corporate social investment programs, specifically targeting youth engagement and leadership. Ayala’s long-term view is to develop through the program a critical mass of steward leaders in various sectors of society who can leverage their leadership ability to serve and improve the lives of their fellow Filipinos.

Ayala Young Leaders is supported by the Ayala group of companies. The congress was initially conducted in 1999 and has been held annually since then. Featured speakers have come from various sectors: business, education, government, civil society, media, the arts, and the church, to name a few.

To date, we have a cumulative alumni population of 1987, many of whom have moved on to become very successful in their chosen careers.
